Lost another pound! Woo-hoo! New weight is 124. Of course, that is not my goal - better blood sugars are. But nice by-product...
Next time you have a craving, see if you can figure out where it is coming from - physically. Is it coming from your stomach, your heart, your mouth, your head, your whole body, or somewhere else?
I just realized recently that when it feels like my whole body is crying out for sugar, it's because my blood sugar is high and if I can bring it down the craving goes away. As I explained in a previous post, one doctor told me that was because the sugar is not getting into my cells, so my body is signalling for more because it hasn't really received it yet. Once I take my insulin, it opens the sugar door to my cells and my body is happy and content.
But yesterday, my blood sugars were good and I had a craving for chocolate. It was a smaller craving and it came from my head and mouth because I thought about how good a piece of my neighbor's stash of chocolate would taste. lol I did not have a piece of my co-workers chocolate, but I did have chocolate later that night. I will tell you about that in another post.
- Today - Jun 29th - 12:30pm - 304 - I had egg, cheese, & bacon for breakfast (which I rarely ever do) and I guess I needed to take a couple units for it

- Jun 26th - 8:40pm - 426 - I think this is because I ate some dried veggies without taking any insulin. I didn't know how much to take, apparently a few units. I think I will stick to fresh veggies from now on.
